  • ¡Enlaces! is a certificate program that’s embedded within the marriage and family therapy specialization. In order to enroll, applicants should be conversationally proficient in Spanish and able to take courses taught bilingually. Courses designated as ¡Enlaces! offer an opportunity for students to apply and practice professional psychological terminology and learn about specific cultural factors involved in counseling Spanish-speaking clients. Coursework familiarizes the student with the diversity of cultures in the Spanish-speaking community; highlights issues these cultures bring to the Spanish-language psychological literature; and includes a clinical placement working with a Spanish-speaking client.

The specialty curriculum is based on competencies established by national nursing organizations and includes the following specialty program tracks: Adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist, nurse educator, nursing leadership and administration, and a post-MSN adult-gerontology CNS certificate. Designed with busy nurses in mind, the flexible online curriculum allows students to balance work, life and school while completing their MSN degree in either a full- or part-time format.   • The Bachelor of Science in nursing degree program combines traditional classroom curricula with clinical rotation experience. Students will be on the job, in nursing environments, as soon as their second year. Upon completion of the BSN degree, students are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and are qualified to apply for the public health nursing certificate issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.

MSMU’s Pre-Med track contains rigorous coursework to accurately prepare you for the MCAT, the intellectual demands of medical school, and the emotional weight of patient care. We offer the flexibility of taking the Pre-Med track alongside any major, as long as you complete the math and science pre-requisites.
