Student Health Services
About our services
In Student Health Services, emphasis is placed on preventive medicine and on positive health practices which will become a part of each student's lifestyle.
Programs designed to assist students in developing values and skills related to achieving a high level of health are presented each semester. Incoming first-year students and transfer students, both resident and commuters, must submit a current Initial Health History and proof of required immunizations prior to entrance.
Programs and services
Student Health offers a broad range of services to our traditional undergraduate students. These services include diagnosis and treatment of illness and minor injuries, physical examinations, immunizations, health education, laboratory testing, alcohol, and drug and smoking cessation.
Students may access either health center for nurse or nurse practitioner visits. There is no cost to the student for provider visits; however, supplemental fees for physical exams, laboratory testing and prescription medications may be assessed. Referrals for a medical specialist and emergency services are also available.
