About the program

This fully online graduate certificate program is both professionally and personally rewarding —and is accomplished in just 14 credits of coursework. The range of courses and electives allows for your individual interests so the structure works for you. In turn, a certificate in Bioethics enhances employment opportunities and strengthens your ability—and confidence— to put your knowledge to work.

Some of the most important decisions we make are ethical decisions. The values we hold dear shape the direction our lives take and how we relate to the people around us. We see this in end of life care, advance directives, treatment options, reproductive technology, allocation of scarce resources, biotechnology, medical experimentation and justice in healthcare. Having training in Bioethics will be a real asset in confronting these challenges.
